Introduction

In our yard there is a beautifull old linden-tree. The Linden-tree symbolizes love, friendship, familyship and hospitality. The tree and the symbolic have inspired us to name our house “Linde”. The Linden-tree stands for what our “Landferienhaus” wants to offer to their guests.

Landferienhaus Linde

The Landferienhaus Linde can accomodate up to 20 guests in holiday appartments and guesthouse rooms. The former “Kulturhaus” (culture house) is situated at the border of the forest in the small and quiet village of Langenbach (ca. 190 inhabitants and no passing traffic) in Thuringia.

The holiday appartments and boarding rooms all have central heating, shower and toilet. In the house is a “Gaststube” with a big balcony, a sauna and solarium. Around the house there are terrasses, a barbeque corner and sunbathing lawns. As a result of the sunny site and the big windows there is a light and friendly atmosphere throughout Landferienhaus Linde.

Seminars

Off april 2005 we will have a studio in which our guests can undertake creative activities. In this studio competent teachers in many fields will be giving seminars.

Thuringian Forest

Langenbach is situated on the southern slopes of the Thüringer Wald (Thuringian Forest), one of the greatest forests in Germany. Here one can find quietness and pure nature. The Langenbach area has vast posibilities for walking, hiking, cycling, ski-wandering and snow walking. For the cultural interested, Thuringia also has many splendid travelspots.
